How to Engage the City Commission

Participating in the Public Comment portion of a Public Meeting:

When talking at City Commission remember these 5 things:

1. You only have 3 minutes
2. Be direct with your point
3. Be nice, not a jerk
4. The Commissioners cannot respond to you
5. Use existing policy to support your position

Sending an Email:

You can email your position to the city Commission before the meeting to.

Send the email to cityclerk@grcity.us with “Public Comment on Topic you want”
